Nexo CEO Predicts Bitcoin Could Soon Hit $100,000

Crypto lending firm Nexo’s CEO predicts Bitcoin could hit $100,000 within a year.

In an interview with CNBC, NEXO CEO Antoni Trenchev predicted that the leading cryptocurrency could surpass the $100,000 mark within the next 12 months

The former member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria said he is worried about the short-term prospects of bitcoin.

Trenchev opined bitcoin could fall in accordance with the traditional financial markets in the short term.

Nexo co-founder also blamed the Federal Reserve’s monetary stimulus program for the short term fall in traditional markets.

Earlier in 2020, Trenchev had predicted bitcoin to hit $50,000 before the end of the year. Bitcoin’s price reached its all-time high at over $68,000 in November 2021.

Several others from the crypto industry have made similar highly bullish predictions regarding bitcoin’s price. Tim Draper has predicted Bitcoin could reach $250,000 by 2023.
