University Of Tokyo All Set to Launch Courses In Metaverse

University of Tokyo Plans to launch courses in Metaverse.

University of Tokyo aka Todai has announced to offer courses in metaverse from this year.

These courses will be available to junior high school students and those already in the workplace to grasp the fundamentals of “metaverse” studies.

The new courses will provide educational programs for which the imparting of information will take place in the metaverse.

The curriculum will be set up by Todai’s Faculty of Engineering and engineering related graduate schools, but will not be a regular faculty that offers degrees.

The aim of the project is to handle the shortage of skilled human resources and keep pace with rapid changes in advanced technologies.

Students from other universities will be able to access the Todai metaverse to search for information about possible careers in engineering.
