New York Attorney General Letitia James issued an investor alert urging New Yorkers who were affected by the crypto crash to contact her office.
Investors who have been locked out of their accounts, who are unable to access their investments, or who have been deceived about their crypto investments are urged to contact the office.
Attorney General urged workers in the crypto industry who may have witnessed misconduct or fraud to file a whistleblower complaint with her office.
”The recent turbulence and significant losses in the cryptocurrency market are concerning,” said Attorney General James.
Attorney General encouraged Terra LUNA, Voyager, Celsius and other crypto projects that got destroyed in the recent market collapse to contact OAG’s Investor Protection Bureau.
The entire crypto market lost nearly $2 trillion since its all time-high back in November.
New York Attorney General has been pushing for more stringent crypto regulations.
