Shiba Inu (SHIB) Developer Shares Crucial Details on SHIB Burn

September 23, 2022

Shiba Inu's pseudonymous lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, has revealed on social network Discord that 5% of profits obtained from the new Shiba Eternity game will be burned.

In one of his tweets, Kusama wrote: "I am being extra careful until I have a perfect explanation of what happens outside the burn."

The lead developer has also stressed that he will not pocket the remaining profits.

Shiba Inu fans have been keenly observing Kusama's activities since last week after he hinted there would be burns from the game.

Shiba Eternity, a multiplayer collectible card game, was launched in Australia last week.

According to sources, Kusama has said that the game will be available globally in less than a month.

Meanwhile, the Shiba Inu team announced yesterday that Kusama and game veteran Willian Volk would host a conversation regarding the game on Twitter Spaces.

SHIB burning has become one of the hottest topics in the Shiba Inu community.

Though over 40% of the total supply of 1 quadrillion SHIB has already been burned, investors believe the process is way slower than it should be.

It is also debated that the ratio of future profits allocated to burning SHIB is too low.
