Cryptoqueen Ruja Ignatova May Have Gotten Tip Before Arrest

October 19, 2022

New leaked documents reveal Ruja Ignatova received police information about investigations into her billion dollar scam before she disappeared.

According to the BBC report, the FBI and Europol most-wanted fugitive knew about efforts to arrest her months before she vanished.

Files seen by the BBC from Europol meetings suggest Ruja Ignatova had the information about the investigation.

The police documents in question were passed to The Missing Cryptoqueen podcast by Frank Schneider, a former spy and trusted adviser to Ms Ignatova.

However, Mr Schneider denies obtaining the documents. He says they were passed to him on a USB memory stick by Ignatova herself.

Schneider is now facing extradition to the US for his alleged role in the OneCoin fraud.

Cryptoqueen’s associates are facing trial in Germany for their role in the OneCoin scam.
