Solana's largest NFT marketplace, Magic Eden, has blamed third party for unsavory NFT images.

Briefing the issue to media, an executive of NFT said it was aware of the issue and fixed it within an hour.

He also advised users to restart their browsers if they still saw the erroneous images.

Magic Eden did not name the third-party image provider out of security concerns.

In a tweet, the NFT marketplace Magic Eden assured their users that NFTs are safe after incorrect images displayed on its platform on January 3.

Magic Eden also told its users that it has not been hacked and the unsavory images were the result of its third-party image hosting provider being compromised.
