Forkast News and data tracker CryptoSlam, two Animoca-backed firms, have joined hands to form a new crypto news website.

As per the company’s release, Forkast News founder Angie Lau, a former Bloomberg TV anchor, and CryptoSlam creator Randy Wasinger will share CEO duties for the newly combined entity.

The merger, which has about 60 employees globally, will find a way to generate sustainable profit, Lau said.
