As per the Reuters reports, Baidu, a Chinese internet search, plans to introduce a ChatGPT-like AI chatbot service in March.

As per sources, the service would initially be offered as a stand-alone application and then gradually merge into its search engine.

The AI chatbot “ChatGPT”is built on OpenAI's GPT-3, which is an artificial intelligence model that intervenes in conversational interactions.

ChatGPT can be used for a variety of purposes such as automatically generating text based on written prompts, telling jokes and creating or fixing code.

Chinese chatbots are more focused on social interactions than on tasks like ChatGPT.

Reports suggest that Baidu plans to integrate results generated by chatbots when users do searches and not just links.

Baidu has invested heavily in AI technologies such as cloud services, and chips to diversify its revenue streams.
