OpenAI CEO Sam Altman Warns Public Of AI Risks

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has been pretty vocal about his opinions towards the potentials and risks of Artificial Intelligence.

Recently he stated that AI could pose economic shocks or disinformation problems "at a level far beyond anything we're prepared for."

Sam Altman is "a little bit scared" of artificial intelligence's potential, reports ABC News.

Keeping honesty at the forefront, he noted that the public shouldn't trust him if he said that he himself wasn't scared.

Despite the fears of the tool potential unemployment, he thinks that it could replace them with "much better" ones.

Altman revealed that he was a regular contact with regulators and the government, since the rollout of ChatGPT, calls it "critical."

Elon Musk has expressed similar concerns over AI, the need of regulatory authority overseeing AI, keeping public interest first.
