Its in the air that US Government is trying to sell the Bitcoin they stole from Ross Ulbricht, creator of the darknet market website Silk Road.

The United States government has been selling bitcoin confiscated from the Silk Road case in 2013.

According to a court filing, the government sold 9,861.1707894 Bitcoin on March 14, 2023.

The United States government plans to liquidate more than 41,000 Bitcoin BTC seized as part of a case connected to Silk Road creator Ross Ulbricht.
