Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates talked to Reuters, addressing the recently released open letter which sparked debates around the future of technology.

“I don’t think asking one particular group to pause solves the challenges. What we need to do is identify the tricky areas,” Gates said.

This was a reply to an open letter, signed by Elon Musk and more than a thousand AI experts, demanding a halt to developing smart AIs.
