Founder of Cash App and the former chief technology officer of Square was found stabbed to death early near downtown San Francisco today, CBS News reported.
The 43-year-old Lee was the Chief Product Officer of San Francisco-based cryptocurrency startup MobileCoin.
Jack Dorsey also confirmed the death of Bob on Nostr.
As of now, no arrest has been made in the case and San Francisco police have not released any suspect details.
Officers responded at about 2:35 a.m. to a report of a stabbing in the city's Rincon Hill neighborhood and arrived to find the victim.
Bob succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, the police said.
The San Francisco Police Department asked on Twitter anyone with information about the stabbing to call them.
