Former Senior Twitter Executives Are Suing Elon Musk

April 12, 2023

Twitter’s ex-CEO Parag Agrawal, along with the company's former chief legal and financial officers claim they are owed $1 million in legal fees from Twitter.

Parag Agrawal and other former executives are seeking to be reimbursed for costs of litigation, investigations and congressional inquiries related to their former jobs.

Court documents reveal Agrawal and then-chief financial officer Ned Segal testified to the SEC last year and "have continued to engage with federal authorities.”

The US SEC is currently investigating whether Elon Musk complied to all the securities laws during Twitter acquisition.

Elon Musk fired these top executives immediately after he completed the $44 billion acquisition.

Agrawal and other executives claim that Twitter agreed to reimburse their legal fees, but have not done it so far.

Twitter is also facing complaints of not paying rent or other bills as Musk went on a cost-cutting frenzy.
