Fantasy Sports: the Perfect Use Case for Blockchain Gaming and NFTs

Blockchain gaming with NFT is a new age concept that will drive ownership and efficient expansion into the 7 billion dollar Fantasy Sports industry. Together, they also aim to expand into the Asian markets and introduce Blockchain Games based on NFT card collectibles.

Dirk Weyel, the founder and CEO of Stryking, added:

“We are thrilled about the partnership because Animoca Brands’ deep knowledge about NFT-based games… will help us tremendously to enhance our platform Football-Stars and reach new Asian markets. Together, we are building the next generation of NFT-based collectible card games in partnership with powerful sports brands.”

With the acquisition of Stryking Entertainment, Animoca Brands adds two important globals brands to blockchain gaming: Formula 1® and Football stars. They will implement unique collectibles in the Blockchain gaming in the form of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), that would enhance the security and increase chances of monetization from the Blockchain game.
