CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, taunted the Bitcoin community with cryptic comments on the top cryptocurrency on Twitter leading to numerous comments from top analysts and influencers in the field. Could Elon be owning any Bitcoins?
“For the love of blockcha…err, Bitcoin!”
Elon Musk is a darling figure to a large chuck of the cryptocurrency community and his latest tweets on Bitcoin, the top cryptocurrency may yet be an indication of this. The CEO and Founder of Space X and Tesla Inc. sent out a tweet in the wee hours of the morning on Friday stating “Bitcoin is *not* his safe word.”

In the wake of Bitcoin’s drop from the key resistance level at $8,400 USD to current $7,800 USD region, the crypto community is looking for any small win and Elon’s recent tweet counts as one. Musk is yet again helping in crypto adoption. How exactly? Exposure. The tweet garnered over 40,000 interactions in an hour, as at time of writing with a number of the 30 million+ followers getting to familiarize for the first time with the pioneer crypto coin.
Bitcoin Conference 2020 commented on the tweet with a “thinking” emoji with Elon responding with a “winking” emoji. Drawing conclusions?

Could Elon be simply teasing with the Bitcoin community or is the CEO of TESLA sending a cryptic message focused on the volatility of the top cryptocurrency?
Elon Musk’s relationship with crypto
This is not the first time the flamboyant Tesla founder has had a run of fun on Twitter regarding cryptocurrencies. At the end of the April 2019, Elon tweeted rather plainly a one word tweet, “Ethereum” setting the community ablaze in interactions in a tweet that has since been liked 107,000 times and retweeted over 8,000 times.
Notwithstanding, Elon changed his Twitter bio to “CEO of Dogecoin”, a little known cryptocurrency, last year causing an increased traction in the coin.
