Boxing Celebrity Mike Tyson Says He’s ‘All In’ On Solana Crypto

It was the popular tweet by Boxing celebrity Mike Tyson on Solana that caught the attention of the crypto fans. Mike Tyson – the most celebrated name in heavyweight boxers, is occupied in the crypto space. Last week he announced, “I’m entirely into the cryptocurrency Solana.” Soon after this announcement, he asked his 5.7 million Twitter followers about their thoughts of ‘how high’ the crypto’s price will go. 

On Saturday, he tweeted, “How high do you think Solana will go?” His tweet received a total of 2.4K comments, but no crypto fans gave a significant price analysis for Solana.

During his early career, Tyson was popularly addressed as “Iron Mike” and “Kid Dynamite”. Later on, he came to be addressed as “The Baddest Man on the Planet.”

Mike Tyson’s Tweet About NFTs

In the 2nd week of January, Mike Tyson tweeted, “I’m all in on Solana. I had just managed to catch a Catalina Whale.” His tweet contained an image of a non-fungible token (NFT) from the Catalina Whale Mixer collection. Iron Mike possesses his NFT collection on Open Sea – instigated in August 2020, in collaboration with artist Cory Van Lew. As per Mike Tyson’s collection, “The Mike Tyson NFT Collection is a restricted sequence of NFTs acknowledging the iconic life & provision of the Baddest Man on the Planet.”

Last week, Tyson further tweeted about NFTs. The tweet read, “Incessantly, I got into NFTs & since then I’ve been anticipating crypto partnerships and DREAM aggrandized. NFTs is the primary Bitcoin that is expected to be traded during US stock market hours. Could transfigure the space and mitigate the mental health of crypto fans.”

Before interposing into Solana, Iron Mike asked his crypto fans on Twitter about which cryptocurrency they would recommend. Again, he tweeted saying, “Which do you prefer, BTC or ETH?” He then tried to opt between Solana and ether. 

At present, Solana is the 5th largest cryptocurrency with a market capitalization of about $47 billion per the data collected from Markets. The coin is trading at $149.84. The cryptocurrency surged high to 4,495% over the past year, but its price fell to 15% over the past month.
