Larry David, a popular ad eluder, finally said yes to appear in a pro-crypto ad. It’s going to be his debut in the field of advertisement. Crypto exchange FTX has been successful in securing Larry David into their latest ad campaign. It was during Super Bowl 56 that the ad first got telecasted. This telecast was organized on Sunday, February 13, 2022.
The ad is drafted to recast non-believers over cryptocurrency acceptance. The growth of the digital currency ecosystem is also one of its primary goals. Larry David will be placed to acquire the role of ‘anti-supporter’ in the first half of the FTX’s 60-second spot.
Sam Bankman – Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of FTX said,

Jeff Schaffer is the one who directed the ad. Jeff Schaffer had partnered with Larry David’s popular shows; like Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm; for a long time.
Jeff Schaffer revealed that the concept of the ad was directed by FTX’s creative branch – dentsuMB. Never did David accepted to be into a commercial ad before. He was overwhelmed with the concept and accepted the proposal to be in the ad. Schaffer further said, “Larry’s had innumerable ad pleaders for the last few years. He would always say that we need to get concept materials for advertisements.
This was the first idea we beheld him saying: ‘Oh, it’s perfect.” Jeff concluded, “Every origination comprises some skeptics and Larry is the proud representative of those people.”
