A 23-year-old Canadian who calls himself the "Crypto King" reportedly had $2 million worth of assets seized over defrauding investors.

The seized assets of the “crypto king”, Aiden Pleterski, include his Lamborghini, two McLarens, and two BMWs, CBC Toronto first reported.

Investors alleged that at least $35 million given to Pleterski's company, AP Private Equity Limited, went missing.

According to the report, twenty-nine creditors have a bankruptcy proceeding against Pleterski, and say he owes them almost $13 million.

According to bankruptcy filings, Pleterski owned 11 high-end cars, in addition to leasing several others, and rented a waterfront home in Burlington for approximately $45,000 per month.

People thought of Pleterski as a young Bill Gates when he started making money off investing crypto back in 2015.

Several investors also accused him of running a ponzi scheme.
