BnB Chain Exploiter Transferred 33,772 Ethereum

Addresses associated with the recent BNBChain bridge exploit moved $45 million worth of ETH to new addresses.

The BNBChain bridge exploit caught the entire community by surprise as hackers secretly attempted to commit malicious acts overnight.

Binance team was able to address the situation quickly enough to minimize the damage by making an attempt to blacklist the associated addresses.

Despite Binance's efforts, hackers still managed to transfer and convert funds in the $100 million range.

The hacker transferred his $50 million to Phantom and $50 million to Ethereum, leaving $400 million in his BSC.

Currently, it seems that the funds converted to Ethereum are on the move.

PeckShieldAlert, a Chrome extension tool tweeted “PeckShieldAlert BNBChain Token Hub Exploiter 0x489A87 has transferred ~33,772 $ETH (～$45M) to a new address 0xFA0a3…14e9.”
