Almost 50% of gig workers are open to getting paid a portion in crypto, Bakk study reveals.

According to a Bakkt’s study, nearly 50% of gig workers are open to get paid portion of their income in crypto.
There was a high prevalence of crypto payments among freelance writers, designers, developers, grocery shoppers, social influencers and renters.
Gig workers were open to receive 30-40% of their payments in cryptocurrencies.
20% of the surveyed workers revealed they have gotten paid in crypto at some point.
Bakkt report noted that more than 30% of gig workers work three or more gigs.
33% rated their crypto knowledge as “above average” or “very high.”
Only 26% of surveyed workers were familiar with more traditional investment vehicles such as ETFs.
