Barcelona Football Club Launches NFT in Times Square

The popular soccer club, Barcelona launched its first-ever NFT on July 29.

FC Barcelona has chosen to be Johan Cruyff as the face of this NFT.

The NFT launched in Times Square displays Cruyff “flying” over the goalkeeper of F.C. Atletico Madrid back in 1973.

The minimum bid is set at $120,000 for now and the NFT will be displayed on the main screen in a golden frame.

The auction will be organized by Sotheby’s, and will be held both online and in physical form in Times Square.

The pass known as ‘Barça Digital Ambassador’ will be valid for 5 years and the future owner of the NFT will get exclusive access to training camps.
