Billionaire Charlie Munger compares crypto with “open swear.”
July 13, 2022
In an interview with the Australian Financial Review, Charlie Munger once again attacked cryptocurrencies.
Berkshire Hathaway’s billionaire called the crypto sector a “sewer” full of bad actors selling digital coins that lack any actual value.
“I just avoid it as if it were an open sewer, full of malicious organisms,” Munger said in the interview.
According to him, investors have to be “almost insane” to invest in cryptocurrencies.
“I think anybody that sells this stuff is either delusional or evil. I won’t touch crypto,” Berksire Hathway’s vice chairman declared.
Charlie Munger further opined that he doesn’t want to devalue national currencies of the world by investing in crypto.
Considered the right hand of Warren Buffet, Munger had earlier called crypto a “venereal disease” that he was glad to have avoided.
