El Salvador’s ambassador to the United States had sought crypto exchange Binance’s help in implementing bitcoin as legal cash and issuing bitcoin bonds.

The CEO of Binanace Changpeng Zhao has landed in El Salvador to meet with the Central American country’s president Nayib Bukele.

El Salvador’s government was initially planning to launch the $1 billion bitcoin bond between March 15 and 17, but the country decided to wait for more favorable market circumstances.

Binance CEO noted that president Nayib Bukele’s decision would be remembered for its “heroic” gamble on the future.

Before announcing to meet Binance CEO, El Salvador President slammed United States for demanding an insight into El Salvador's Bitcoin adoption.

Nayib Bukele announced on Twitter that he will be meeting Binance CEO to discuss other issues and not Volcano Bonds.

The US government has given El Salvador 90 days to report its financial changes since bitcoin’s adoption.
