Celsius reveals data breach to its customers.

The bankrupt crypto-lender revealed to its customers on Thursday that their email list was leaked in a data breach.

The customers were informed about the leak through emails

The company claimed it doesn’t present any high risk to their clients but just informed them about the matter.

In the email shared by ZeroHedge on behalf of the Celsius stated that it was informed of the leak by Customer.io.

Celsius informed that one of its employees accessed a list of Celsius client emails, before transferring them to a third party.

The infringement follows a similar happening at Blockchain.Com where client emails were leaked by its email partner SendGrid.

Both Celsius and Blockchain.Com accounts were damaged in June after which Celsius was forced to freeze withdrawals and file for bankruptcy.
