A new class action lawsuit alleges some YouTube influencers are responsible for promoting the now-disgraced cryptocurrency exchange FTX.

Among several crypto influencers sued for not disclosing that FTX was paying them for promotions, is Ben Armstrong, aka BitBoy.

Creator of BitBoy Crypto and author of “Catching Up To Crypto, Ben has 1M followers on Twitter.

Post filing of lawsuit, he tweeted about how he felt about the case and says he is pretty much excited about it.

He tweets: "When I countersue the plaintiffs and the lawyers involved, we will finally be able to prove unequivocally I never had dealings with FTX."

Some tweets backfired at him. An investor replied: "You poked the Bear. Here comes the pain," another posted a screenshot from his YouTube blog with questions.

While it is unclear whether the BitBoy and other influencers’ endorsement contracts are still in force, several FTX promotional contracts have either been altered or terminated since the exchange’s bankruptcy.
