Interpol issues Red Notice for Terra's co-founder Do Kwon: Report

September 26, 2022

As per media reports, on Monday (September 26), Interpol issued a red notice for Terraform Labs CEO and co-founder Do Kwon.

Interpol has asked law enforcement agencies across the world to locate and provisionally arrest Do Kwon and his associates.

South Korea is seeking their custody to prosecute the individuals for their alleged connection with the multi-billion collapse of the Terra-LUNA stablecoin project.

According to some, the Terra-LUNA debacle wiped off nearly US$40 billion in investor wealth.

An arrest warrant for the Terraform founder was issued on September 14 for violating the country's Capital Markets Act.

Reports say that the prosecutor's office has refused to identify the five known associates of Kwon at Terraform.

Do Kwon earlier denied that he is on the run and clarified that he is ready to cooperate with any government.
