, Elon Musk took to Twitter to address the issue.
Regarding Twitter’s reduction in force, unfortunately there is
no choice,
Musk tweeted.
Musk reasoned he had to do this as the company is losing
$4 million daily
in revenue.
However, Musk revealed that laid off employees are being well
compensated.
Everyone exited was offered
3 months of severance
, which is 50% more than legally required, Musk tweeted.
The eccentric billionaire completed the Twitter
buyout
later last month after months of back and forth
