Know More About Elon Musk’s Tesla Shares Donation

According to the US SEC filing on Tuesday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk donated $1.95 billion worth of Tesla stock last year.

As per the filing, Musk donated about 11.6 million shares between August and December of last year.

However, it has not been specified which organisation or who were the recipients of the donation.

Reports suggest that Musk donated approximately $5.74 billion in 2021.

However, analysts believe Musk would benefit from donating Tesla stock to charity.

This is because shares donated to charities do not have to pay capital gains tax.
