Google’s parent company Alphabet tops blockchain investors list with $1.56 billion.

Tech giant Alphabet invested $1.56 billion in blockchain companies.
It made the investment between September 2021 and June 2022 in four rounds.
These investment results in taking the company to the top position among investing in the sector, as per the research published by Blockdata on August 11.
During this period, Blackrock in three rounds, invested $1.17 billion, followed by banking giant Morgan Stanley at $1.1 billion with two rounds.
Samsung is at number 13 in funding with $979 million, while Goldman Sachs settles at the fifth position at $698 million.
Initially, Google embraced a cautious approach towards blockchain but has softened its standpoint by risking into new emerging domains under the sector.
Recently, Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has made its way into the blockchain sector with several initiatives.
