Luxury brand Gucci has filed five trademarks for NFTs and Metaverse.

Gucci has filed trademarks for NFT-backed media, crypto brokerage, marketplace services, and exchange.

Trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis revealed that the luxury brand has filed five trademark applications for its name and logo on June 16.

The luxury brand will offer several services including Financial brokering of virtual goods and crypto-collectibles, according to the trademark filings.

Gucci is also planning to offer virtual currency and electronic transfer, along with the exchange of virtual currency.

Earlier, Gucci started accepting cryptocurrency payments in its stores in the United States.

Balenciaga also announced to accept cryptocurrencies on e-commerce platforms through BitPay.

As per the trademark filing, Gucci is planning to host virtual fashion shows.
