Twitter this week is hilarious with a recent retrospective of an old SEC meeting in 2017.
Tim Draper, a venture capitalist, was tricked in SEC meeting by “fake Satoshi”.
Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett published a screenshot of 2017 SEC meeting entries with venture capitalist Tim Draper and one “Satoshi N”.
The tweet followed Terrett's announcement that former SEC director Bill Hinman has a copy of the entire calendar from when he was at the SEC.
Within hours, Twitter revealed the reality of Terrett's findings that it was a fake Satoshi.
Two days after the SEC meeting, Draper tweeted “I just got targeted by a Satoshi fake. He was very convincing, and wasted a lot of my time. Could have been much worse. Watch out!”.
It became certainly a moment for the crypto history books.
