Napster plans to rebrand around cryptocurrencies and NFTs

The music streaming app Napster is strategizing to enter back into the limelight with the help of crypto and NFTS.

Napster will be issuing its own token as $NAPSTER which will be used to buy the tickets and products on the new platform.

The music streaming platform gained notoriety 20 years ago for plagiarism.

This new move is part of Hivemind Capital Partner's private investment of Napster.

The app was discontinued in July 2001 due to copyright infringement and bankruptcy.

The renewal of Napster will be on the Algorand network blockchain.

According to Zhang, $NAPSTER is planned to be limited to 10 billion tokens.
