Non-Twitter Blue Users Cannot Access This Feature

As per the recent announcement, non-Twitter blue tick users cannot access a major security feature.

The post details that starting today, Twitter will no longer allow accounts to opt-in to 2FA text/SMS methods unless they are Twitter Blue subscribers.

After March 20, 2023, it will no longer permit non-Twitter Blue subscribers to use text messages as a two-factor authentication (2FA) method.

Also, it states that if an account that uses 2FA for text messaging is still active at that time, it will be disabled.

It further recommends that if you're not a Twitter Blue subscriber, consider using an authentication app or security key method instead.

Twitter Blue recently launched in India costs Rs 650 per month when accessed via the Twitter website and Rs 900 per month for the Android or iOS app.

Twitter Blue is currently available in fifteen countries and has plans to expand in future
