March 29, 2022

Silk Road founder, who is currently serving a double life sentence, will release his second NFT collection at the Bitcoin 2022 conference in Miami.

The NFTs will be minted on April 5 to commemorate Bitcoin white paper’s creator Satoshi Nakamoto’s birthday.

Ross is releasing a second Bitcoin NFT art collection from behind the bars to raise funds for children to visit their imprisoned parents.

The Ross Ulbricht Growth Collection exhibition will contain four physical oil paintings, one hand-drawn physical animation, and five corresponding Bitcoin NFTs.

Ross is currently serving the ninth year of his double life plus 40-year sentence for creating the darknet website Silk Road.

The darknet website was seized by the FBI in 2013 when Ross was arrested and later convicted on several charges.

Several personalities in the crypto industry, including the famous investor Tim Draper, have called for Ross Ulbricht’s release from the prison.
