South Korea Makes First Arrests In Terra LUNA Probe

October 6, 2022

After months of investigation South Korean police have identified the first person involved in the collapse of the Terra collapse.

Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office issued a bench warrant on Wednesday on Yoo, Terra’s head of general affairs.

He has been charged with violating the capital markets act, fraud and breach of duty among others, Choi Sung-kook, the district prosecutor confirmed with Forkast.

Choi declined to disclose the exact date and location of the arrest.

Prosecutors allege that Yoo used bot programming to inflate and manipulate the market price of Terra's cryptocurrency.

Seoul Southern District Court is working on giving a “direct judgment of warrant” on Yoo.

A decision should be announced later today on whether or not to grant the bench warrant.
