Blue Pepper took to Twitter to announce that users can now cross the Dogecoin-Ethereum bridge and its live.

The Dogecoin community was awaiting a new DOGE-ETH bridge developed by Blue Pepper since the end of 2022.

The new bridge will create a wrapped version of DOGE that would allow users to stake, lend, and perform other DeFi functions using their DOGE.

Blue Pepper’s bridge uses a centralized custodian BitGo, the custodian for the wrapped version of Bitcoin.

The new Dogecoin-Ethereum bridge will grant DOGE users access to all the DeFi functionalities of the Ethereum chain.

Users can request the conversion of their Dogecoins into wDoges and vice versa on Blue Pepper's official website.
