As reported earlier, the Binance smart chain (BSC) network was temporarily suspended after an exploit was found on a cross-chain bridge worth $600 million..
A few minutes after the initial hack, someone created a BNBHACKERINU token on ETH mainnet.
The token was rugged only two hours later after it was created, Twitter user Lorem revealed.
Though initially it seemed like the hacker himself created this token, but it was later confirmed that it was just another spoof coin created to mock the hack.
People had also sent messages to the hacker’s address, mostly asking for a part of the loot.
The BNB chain exploit is among the biggest hacks crypto has seen.
