Responding to the news that he made himself the sole director of the company after dissolving Twitter’s board of directors, Musk wrote, “this is just temporary.”
US SEC filing revealed that Musk has dismissed the firm's board and assumed the role of director.
According to Musk, the new board of directors will be more suitable to represent the interests of the company and take care of its development.
As soon as Musk completed the buyout, he fired Chief Executive Parag Agrawal, Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal, and legal affairs and policy chief Vijaya Gadde.
However, Musk clarified he became the sole director of Twitter only on a temporary basis.
Musk has several major plans to overhaul Twitter, including integrating crypto.
The new owner of Twitter is also working to make Twitter blue checks a paid service.
