Twitter Lost 80% Workforce Since Musk’s Takeover

Twitter has lost 80% of its workforce since Elon Musk take over the microblogging site, CNBC reported.
Twitter had about 7500 employees before Musk's take over in late October.

This number has gone down to approximately 1,300 active employees, the company’s internal data showed.
Around 75 of the company’s 1,300 employees are on leave including about 40 engineers.
According to internal records viewed by CNBC, Twitter now has fewer than 550 full-time engineers including fewer than 20 full-time employees.
The company also has around 1,400 non-working employees who are still being paid.
Musk has changed the company's several policies related to content moderation and privacy policies.
