Humanity 2.0 Foundation is partnering with Sensorium to host Vatican's art inside a metaverse.

Artwork of famous artists like Michelangelo, Raphael, Marc Chagall, Salvador Dalí, Paul Gauguin, Vincent van Gogh, and Pablo Picasso will be displayed in the metaverse.

The Vatican city’s museums attract over 6 million attendees a year.

With virtual reality and NFTs, the partnership aims to attract a wider audience from around the world to the Vatican’s heritage.

The metaverse project is chaired by Father Philip Larrey, Dean of Philosophy at the Pope's University in Vatican city.

Sensorium had earlier partnered with artists like David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, and Steve Aoki

"We look forward to working with Sensorium to explore ways to democratize art,” Father Flip Larrey commented.
