Is Current Bear Market Shaping Millennials' Views On Crypto?

October 3, 2022

According to Bankrate’s September survey, only 21% of Americans feel comfortable investing in cryptocurrency, a downfall of 35% in 2021.

This decline is not surprising given that nearly $2 trillion has disappeared from the entire cryptocurrency market since November 2021.

Investor confidence has declined across generations, but millennials are experiencing the steepest drop.

About 30% of American investors between the ages of 26 and 41 feel comfortable in 2022, compared to nearly 50% in 2021.

Bitcoin has traded between $18,000 and $25,000 since June, compared to its record high of over $65,000 in November 2021.

Cryptocurrencies are considered highly volatile assets subject to  unpredictable price fluctuations.

Many financial experts advise against investing more money in cryptocurrencies than you can afford to lose, as there is no guarantee of return.
