Bitcoin Halving: Analyst Unveils Key Phases & Potential BTC Price Momentum

Published by

Bitcoin’s recent price surge has captivated the crypto community, fueled by optimistic sentiments and anticipation surrounding the upcoming Bitcoin Halving event. In addition, the strong inflow into the U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETF has also fuelled the market sentiment.

However, as the market braces for potential price movements, renowned analyst Rekt Capital shares insights into key phases and potential momentum shifts of Bitcoin. Notably, understanding these phases could provide valuable guidance for investors navigating the dynamic crypto landscape.

Rekt Capital Unveils Key Phases Of Bitcoin Halving

Renowned crypto analyst Rekt Capital sheds light on the intricacies of the Bitcoin Halving event and its impact on price dynamics. According to Rekt Capital’s analysis, the Halving event typically unfolds in four distinct phases, each carrying implications for Bitcoin’s price trajectory.

The first phase, known as the “Pre-Halving Rally,” occurs approximately 60 days before the Halving event and is marked by a surge in Bitcoin’s price. This rally is often followed by a “Pre-Halving Retrace” phase, characterized by a pullback in price as the event approaches. Notably, Rekt Capital notes historical patterns show a retracement of 38% in 2016 and 20% in 2020.

The price retreat generally occurs between 14-28 days before the Bitcoin Halving event, the analyst noted, and can last up to multiple weeks or around 80 days.

Meanwhile, following the pre-halving retrace, Bitcoin enters a phase of re-accumulation, where the price consolidates over several months. This period, although testing investors’ patience, sets the stage for a potential breakout into a “Parabolic Uptrend.” This phase historically witnesses accelerated growth, marking a significant uptick in Bitcoin’s price trajectory.

Rekt Capital’s analysis provides valuable insights into the cyclical nature of Bitcoin’s price movements surrounding the Halving event. While historical data offers guidance, it’s essential to acknowledge that past performance does not guarantee future outcomes in the volatile cryptocurrency market.

So, investors are advised to approach the Bitcoin Halving event with caution, considering both historical patterns and current market conditions.

Potential Price Momentum and Investor Outlook:

As Bitcoin navigates through the phases outlined by Rekt Capital, investors are closely monitoring price movements and market dynamics. The anticipation surrounding the Bitcoin Halving event, coupled with positive sentiment and institutional inflows, could drive Bitcoin’s price to new heights.

However, investors should remain vigilant, recognizing the inherent volatility and uncertainties inherent in the crypto market.

While Rekt Capital’s analysis provides a roadmap for understanding Bitcoin’s price trajectory, investors must conduct thorough research and exercise caution when making investment decisions. As Bitcoin continues to assert its dominance in the digital asset space, strategic insights such as those provided by Rekt Capital offer valuable perspectives for navigating the evolving crypto landscape.

Meanwhile, as of writing, the Bitcoin price was up 1.33% to $68,123.46, and its one-day trading volume was down 26% to $40.8 billion. Despite the gains, the Bitcoin price fell nearly 5% in the last seven days, while noting a monthly gain of over 32%.
