Binance Online Draws 680K Views as Leaders Discuss Crypto Growth

Binance wrapped up its flagship virtual event on May 13, Binance Online, and the numbers tell the story. Over 680,000 views on Binance Square and nearly 65,000 live chat replies across four-plus hours of programming. For a crypto event in 2026, that’s not noise. That’s a signal.

Binance Online brought together a lineup that read more like a Davos guest list than a typical exchange webinar. Co-CEOs Yi He and Richard Teng led the charge alongside Binance Founder CZ.

Executives from BlackRock, Ripple, Solana Foundation, Blockstream, Messari, YZi Labs, and The Block rounded out a full day of sessions covering everything from tokenization to venture capital to stablecoins.

Binance Leadership Outlines Ambitious Growth Plans on Binance Online

The event opened with a fireside chat between Binance Co-CEOs Yi He and Richard Teng, who outlined the exchange’s vision to grow the crypto user base from roughly 300 million to 3 billion people globally.“

If you want to be the best company in the world, you should think big, you should think crazy,” Yi He said. “Three billion,  that means not just an exchange. That means we are basically the financial infrastructure for the world.”

Richard Teng echoed the sentiment, drawing from his travels to emerging markets.

“I see that even today, 1.4 billion people are excluded from financial services globally. Crypto is here to solve that problem. That’s why we are very passionate about freedom of money globally.”

Where the Money Is Moving

One of the sharper sessions brought together Chamath Palihapitiya, CZ, and Anthony Pompliano to map where smart capital is flowing in this cycle. The consensus: the most interesting plays aren’t pure crypto anymore.

Compute, energy, robotics, digital payments, and tokenized real-world assets are all converging with crypto rails in ways that are creating genuinely new investment categories.

That thesis got institutional weight from the closing session, where BlackRock COO Rob Goldstein spoke about tokenization and what it means for capital markets.

“If you ask the leadership of BlackRock whether the amount of wealth stored in digital wallets is going to increase, I think everyone would raise their hand,” Goldstein said.

“That’s why it’s so important to make capital markets exposures available as tokens,” he added.

Goldstein also specifically called out Binance’s role in that shift. He noted that technology needs to be “properly implemented and properly explained,” and that Binance is positioned to do exactly that.

Broader Impact and Community Focus

What made Binance Online feel different from typical crypto conferences was its tone. The sessions on stablecoins, regulatory clarity, and institutional integration weren’t speculative, they were operational. Brad Garlinghouse (Ripple) and Lily Liu (Solana Foundation) joined Teng for a panel that covered how traditional finance and crypto infrastructure are actively converging, not just talking about it.

The event was also tied to a charitable component: $35,000 going to the UZH Blockchain Center at the University of Zurich and $15,000 to Geeks Academy in Kyrgyzstan to expand blockchain education access.

Binance Online remains available for replay on Binance Square, giving global viewers a chance to catch key moments they may have missed. The strong turnout and depth of discussion signal continued momentum in the crypto space as it matures and intersects more deeply with traditional finance. Binance Online has confirmed the appetite for thoughtful, forward-looking dialogue in the industry as one of the largest player-driven virtual events in recent months.
