2026 has been a defining, and at times volatile, year for the crypto market. While the turbulence has tested companies across the industry, it has also made one thing increasingly clear. Institutional adoption is no longer a future narrative. It is happening now.
Banks, asset managers, exchanges, payment giants and traditional financial institutions are moving deeper into digital assets. Companies across the digital assets ecosystem are continuing to build the infrastructure needed to support this shift.
To honour them, the leading media in digital assets space, CoinGape has announced the Global Onchain Awards 2026.
Building on its earlier award editions, the new awards programme will recognise the companies, institutions and leaders building for the next phase of crypto. That is the institutional era.
The awards ceremony will take place on October 6 at Pullman Singapore Hill Street, Singapore, alongside the Global Onchain Summit Singapore 2026 organised by CoinGape.
“Crypto is entering a very different phase. The conversation is no longer only about adoption. The awards will focus on companies that are already executing in this market, rather than simply talking about the institutional opportunity.,” said CoinGape co-founder and COO Abhinav Agarwal.
