CoinGape has officially announced the winners of the Global Onchain Awards 2026, following the ceremony that took place yesterday at Pullman Singapore Hill Street during the closing stage of the Global Onchain Summit Singapore 2026.

The purpose of the awards was to celebrate companies, institutions and leaders building for crypto’s institutional era. With over 100 nominations across 20+ categories, the program was one of the biggest events of the year.

The selection process involved CoinGape’s robust evaluation framework, with the community voting on CoinGape’s platform and the jury making the final decision.

A closed jury of executives from traditional finance and onchain infrastructure decided the winners of the awards. The jurors were Chetan Karkhanis, Senior Vice President at Franklin Templeton; Andy Ross, Head of Institutional at Kalshi; Hürcan Polat, Growth Lead, API & CLI at Nansen; and Marcin Kaźmierczak, Co-Founder at RedStone.

Together, they brought their niche expertise, covering asset management, regulated markets, onchain data and oracle infrastructure, elements required to push crypto into the institutional conversation.

Who Are the Winners of the Global Onchain Awards 2026

The award categories covered everything from tokenized equities trading, event contracts, prediction markets, and institutional exchanges to RWA tokenization, staking, stablecoin payments, remittances, on/off-ramps, and compliance.

The winners were selected based on their institutional readiness: how attuned they are to handling institutional-level volumes, and how equipped they are to work within the regulatory crypto ecosystem that continues to be consolidated.

Global Onchain awards

The winners that stand out include Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, who was presented with the Onchain Leadership Award for her contribution in leading Bitget’s growth from nearly 20 million to over 120 million users. Her strategic move to evolve Bitget into a Universal Exchange and her initiatives such as Blockchain4her have been lauded by the crypto industry.

Binance was awarded the Best Crypto Exchange for Institutions as the number of institutional users on the exchange grew 9% in H1 2026. Also noteworthy is Binance’s institutional “triparty” banking framework that removes the need for institutional clients to self-custody their crypto or park capital on the exchange.

Meanwhile, Tokeny won the Best Tokenized Real-World Asset (RWA) Platform for its role in creating ERC-3643 and engaging in multiple partnerships to further bolster its RWA agenda.

A Benchmark for the Institutional Era

The Global Onchain Awards recognize execution in the current institutional era of crypto. Much like CoinGape’s earlier programs, such as the Web3 Innovation Awards 2026 and the Crypto Impact Awards 2025, this program also attracted a massive following.

With winners covering the entire institutional stack, including tokenization, staking, stablecoin payments, compliance and multi-asset trading, the Global Onchain Awards 2026 show where crypto’s institutional era is going.

CoinGape congratulates all the winners and nominees for their contributions to building a strong institutional infrastructure for crypto.
