RWA Firm MANTRA Set to Be Acquired by Inveniam

Key Highlights

  • Inveniam plans to acquire RWA blockchain MANTRA after its $20 million investment in 2025.
  • MANTRA Chain and ecosystem will continue operating post-acquisition.
  • The firms aim to combine tokenization infrastructure with AI-ready market data.

MANTRA:- In a major crypto acquisition deal, the leading RWA L1 blockchain MANTRA is set to be acquired by private-market data infrastructure firm Inveniam Capital Partners.

The acquisition aims to combine MANTRA’s blockchain infrastructure with Inveniam’s AI-ready private market data platform. This will be creating what the companies describe as a unified ecosystem for tokenized assets.

“Today marks a big new step in our journey,” MANTRA said in the official blog announcing the deal on Tuesday.

Who is Acquiring MANTRA

Inveniam first backed MANTRA through a $20 million strategic investment announced in August 2025. That established one of the blockchain MANTRA’s closest institutional partnerships.

The companies have not disclosed the size of Inveniam’s equity stake even then and now. But MANTRA founder John Patrick Mullin described Inveniam as the project’s largest investor.

The Inveniam deal represents a significant milestone for MANTRA, which was founded six years ago as a decentralized finance and DAO-focused protocol. Since then, it has evolved into one of the crypto industry’s most prominent RWA tokenization projects with current market value of around $500 million–$600 million.

Infact, at its peak, MANTRA was valued at more than $6 billion. That made it one of the largest RWA-focused crypto projects before the dramatic collapse of the OM token in April 2025

Commenting on the acquisition, MANTRA founder and CEO John Patrick Mullin described the development as one of the most important moments in the project’s history.

Will MANTRA Shut down After the Acquisition?

Addressing concerns over the future of the project, Mullin emphasized that MANTRA would continue to play a central role within the combined entity.

“MANTRA isn’t going anywhere. This is not the end. It’s the beginning of a new chapter,” he said. “We’re continuing to build MANTRA Chain, MF Markets, mantraUSD, and we’re excited to explore new ways to create utility and value accrual opportunities for the $MANTRA token.”

Patrick O’Meara, Chairman and CEO of Inveniam Capital Partners, further said in a X post that acquisition is set to accelerate the rollout of new partnerships, products and technology releases. The executive noted that both firms have shared a vision of bringing trusted data, AI and blockchain infrastructure together. The firms are now going to support the next generation of private markets.

Big Win?

For MANTRA, the announcement comes as the project continues its rebuilding efforts following the dramatic collapse of its OM token in s dramatic implosion in April 2025. That was an event that erased billions of dollars in market value and sent shockwaves across the RWA sector.

Since then, the team has pushed ahead with ecosystem development, token migration efforts and new institutional initiatives.

Howwvee, despite the operational progress, the network’s token continues to trade well below its pre-crash levels. The project’s token, which has since undergone a migration and rebranding process, is currently valued at roughly $11 million-$18 million in market capitalization. But the token remains more than 99% below its February 2025 all-time high of $9.04.

If completed, the deal would mark one of the most notable acquisitions in the RWA space this year. It also shows how tokenized asset infrastructure is combining with AI-powered financial data platforms.
