Crypto payments firm Mesh has acquired Bluvo to strengthen its exchange connectivity as it expands its payments infrastructure. The deal comes shortly after Mesh partnered with World Liberty Financial (WLFI) to support payments using its USD1 stablecoin.

The acquisition brings Bluvo co-founders Florian Sabani and Luca Dalla Chiara into Mesh. Dalla Chiara will join as Head of Exchange Partnerships, while Sabani will serve as Senior Staff Software Engineer. The companies have not disclosed the financial terms.

Mesh connects more than 300 cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets through a single integration. Bluvo’s exchange connectivity technology complements that network.

Why Is Mesh Acquiring Bluvo?

The acquisition focuses on a key challenge in crypto payments: connecting exchanges and moving funds reliably across platforms.

Crypto businesses often need separate integrations to connect with different exchanges and wallets. Maintaining these connections can add technical complexity. It can also affect how smoothly users move their assets.

Mesh aims to simplify this process through a single integration. Bluvo’s technology and engineering expertise could help strengthen those connections as Mesh expands its network.

The deal also adds experience in exchange partnerships. Dalla Chiara will lead that function at Mesh, while Sabani will contribute to its engineering team.

The acquisition comes as Mesh expands its payment ambitions. Its recent partnership with WLFI aims to let users spend USD1 across Mesh’s merchant network. Strong exchange connectivity could support the infrastructure needed to move digital assets across platforms.

However, Mesh has not disclosed specific integration plans or quantified the acquisition’s expected impact on transaction volume and revenue.

Mesh’s $1B Valuation and USD1 Push

Mesh raised $75 million in a Series C funding round in January 2026, reaching a reported valuation of $1 billion. Dragonfly Capital led the round, which brought the company’s total funding to more than $200 million.

Other investors included Paradigm, Coinbase Ventures, SBI Investment, Moderne Ventures and Liberty City Ventures.

The funding supports Mesh’s broader push to build infrastructure connecting crypto exchanges, wallets and payment services.

Meanwhile, its WLFI partnership could expand the use of USD1 beyond crypto trading. The planned integration will allow users to spend the stablecoin across Mesh’s merchant network.

USD1’s market capitalization was reported at around **$4.4 billion** in coverage of the partnership. However, that figure does not indicate how much payment volume the integration will generate.

For Mesh, the Bluvo acquisition strengthens the connectivity layer behind its payments business. The next test will be whether that infrastructure translates into greater merchant adoption and higher transaction volumes.
