On February 1, 2023, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman is going to present the union budget 2023. From the common man to an industrialist, everyone has high hopes for this budget because it will be the last full budget of the Modi 2.0 government ahead of the general elections next year.
It will begin at 11 AM and viewers can view the live streaming of the Budget 2023 on several news channels like Lok Sabha TV, Rajya Sabha TV, and others who will broadcast Sitharaman’s speech LIVE. One can also choose online news portals to get the post-budget analysis to understand the announcements in a better way.
As per recent reports, this year, the Parliamentary session is expected to happen on January 31, 2023, and the budget session is reportedly expected to continue till April 6 after a break during which the standing committees analyze the requests for grants from various ministries.

The finance minister will present the Economic Survey of India on January 31 and the Union Budget 2023 at 11 am on 1 February. FM Sitharaman delivered the longest speech in Indian history during the 2019 Budget speech, lasting 2 hours and 15 minutes. In 2020, she was close to breaking her own record by delivering a speech that lasted roughly 162 minutes.
Hoping for the reduced TDS on cryptocurrencies, Punit Agarwal, Founder, and CEO, of KoinX, said:
“Government is losing a lot of TDS as the trading shifted to international exchanges. The purpose of tracking the payments can still be met even if the TDS rate is brought down,”
Mentioning the example of Japan’s crypto exchange guidelines. Mr. Agarwal opined that domestic exchanges must also manage 95% of their customers’ cryptocurrency offline in so-called cold wallets to reduce the risk of losing it in the case of a cyberattack.
