The Sandbox, a metaverse and gaming company, announced its collaboration with Japan’s animation studio behemoth Toei Animation on February 16. This company is known for its work in animating immensely popular manga, including Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, and One Piece.
The Sandbox announced that in addition to Toei Animation Studio, it would also bring in Minto. However, it is a business in the same industry that deals with advertising, character creation, webtoons, and web3 businesses. The Sandbox continues to forge alliances with Japanese animation production IP brands through TOEI ANIMATION. The Sandbox will deliver TOEI ANIMATION’s worldview through LAND experiences.
Satoshi Shinohara, Managing Director of Toei Animation, stated
We are thrilled and honored to have The Sandbox and Minto as our business partners. I have faith that the “FLEET” we have put together will be able to find new lands and new routes that will direct the entertainment business for years to come.
The Sandbox will give away a limited-edition NFT to the first 1,000 users who register as a way to celebrate this collaboration. In the near future, the NFT will be made public.
Requirements for receiving the NFT
According to technical experts, the Sandbox price has the potential to reach $1 by the year 2025. This deal may give the sandbox cryptocurrency a boost, and the sandbox price may reach this position by the end of 2023.
