On November 3, Elon Musk took to the rebranded micro-blogging site X and shared the update with the netizens, saying, “AI-based “See similar” posts feature is rolling out now.” The new feature powered by AI will let people see similar posts, based on their searches and recommended posts on the platform.  In another tweet, Elon Musk said XAI will release the first AI model, on November, which will give life to the vision.

The first AI model will be available to a selected group of users and will be shared widely later.

AI-Based Similar Posts Is Part of Making X an Everything App

The newly launched Artificial Intelligence (AI) based see similar posts feature is said to be a part of the strategic plan of making X, an everything app.

The talks to roll out this new feature were first discussed during an internal X meeting, held on October 26. Since then, users have eagerly waited for a new update of X by Elon Musk.

Since the $44 billion Twitter deal, Elon Musk has made the platform his dream project and is working to make it an everything app for all users. In just one year of the purchase, the Tesla CEO is making constant changes, starting from removing the blue tick, and subscriptions, and changing the Twitter name and bird logo from X.

In the recent update, Elon Musk announced changes in terms of revenue for content creators and expressed how he wants X to be a financial application for its users. It also announced an audio and video calling feature on X.

A See Dissimilar Post Hint Dropped

After the rollout of the See Similar Posts feature, users bombarded the X platform with several tweets and hashtags, speaking about the new feature.

However, what caught the attention of all was a post shared by one X user Kim Martin. In the tweet, she appealed to Elon Musk and the X team to roll out a See Dissimilar Posts feature too.

In her X post, Martin said, that unlike the Similar Posts feature, the See Dissimilar Posts feature will let users know about the spectrum of views on a particular topic, giving a better and wider vision regarding information shared on the X platform.

Reacting to the same, Elon Musk said, “That’s coming soon.”

The statement is no less than a hint that X is expected to come with another new update, making X a better experience for its users and X being an everything app.
